Sisterhood
BWTB gives opportunity to remove the false and imposed barriers that divide us and keep us from living, loving, and working better together to make our lives and this world a better place.
Authenticity
BWTB is an opportunity to begin to shift the paradigms, created by others, about Black women and rewrite our narratives for and by Black women as a legacy for Black young girls and generations to come.
Healing
BWTB is a platform for potential healing and wholeness for Black women that can benefit the whole world.
The Issues
Black women’s history and contributions to the Americas and the world are being co-opted and erased by American culture.
Whitewashing
Black women’s agendas for the healing and wholeness of Black communities are being whitewashed, minimized, and silenced by the “BIPOC” cultural narrative and movement.
Silencing
Black women’s voices, perspectives, and analysis on the statuses, challenges, and resources of Black communities are derelict to those with the power to back change.
Neglect
In most societies, we are told who we are, and what we need is not important, let alone included in an agenda that speaks to needs of human beings. Basically, whatever works for all other women should work for us.
